SIGSEC – Safety, Public Order, Emergency Services & Homeland Security Conference is a one-day international conference dedicated to the fields of public safety, public order, emergency services, homeland security and critical infrastructure protection.
Now in its 4th edition, SIGSEC 2026 will take place on November 17, 2026, at the prestigious “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” Police Academy in Bucharest, Romania, as part of the partnership established between TNT Productions Romania and the Police Academy.
The new venue represents an important milestone in the development of SIGSEC and further strengthens the conference’s position as a platform for dialogue and cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs, public authorities and operational structures, the academic community, research organizations and the security industry.
A Platform for Institutional, Academic and Industry Dialogue
The current security environment is evolving at an unprecedented pace. Hybrid threats, critical infrastructure protection, cyber risks, climate-related challenges, emergency management, artificial intelligence and digital transformation are creating increasingly complex requirements for public authorities and operational organizations.
SIGSEC 2026 provides a dedicated environment where decision-makers, operational specialists, academics, researchers and industry representatives can discuss these challenges, exchange expertise and identify technologies, solutions and strategies capable of strengthening future public safety and security capabilities.

SIGSEC 2026 Conference Structure
The conference will feature three main sessions:
PANEL 1 – Strategic Leaders Debate

A high-level strategic debate addressing public safety, public order and community resilience, bringing together representatives of public institutions, government, academia and industry.
PANEL 2 – Operational Technology Showcase
“Operational Capabilities for Public Safety, Public Order and Emergency Response”
A dedicated technology and solutions showcase featuring presentations of the latest technologies, equipment, systems and operational capabilities designed for public safety, law enforcement, emergency services and homeland security organizations.
PANEL 3 – Connecting Education, Research, Industry and Institutions
“Shaping the Future of Homeland Security”
A dedicated platform for dialogue between public institutions, academia, research organizations and industry, focusing on innovation, education, applied research and the development of future capabilities for homeland security.
